What is a Copper Water Bottle?
A copper water bottle is a reusable drinking vessel handcrafted from copper and traditionally used in Ayurveda for storing plain drinking water. The classic Tamra Jal routine is to keep room-temperature water in a clean copper vessel for 6 to 8 hours, then rinse and refill it fresh each day.
Copper has a long place in Indian water-storage traditions and develops a natural patina with use. Copper Healer bottles are unlined, made without lacquer or chemical polish, and supported by periodic production-sample testing for the bottle family; we do not claim that every individual bottle is separately tested.
